Very friendly staff, good prices and the baked treats were delicious! I highly recommend the partridge berry molasses tart.
We had lunch at this delightful place on our way through town. We had been told by friends to go to the Bonavista Social Club. We went but they aren't open until Wednesday. We were driving by , saw the sign and decided to stop. We both had an egg salad sandwich and soup. The soup was homemade and perfect for a rainy, windy day. We had a great conversation with our server. The place filled up with lots of locals so we knew we had chosen well.

Every time I am home in Bonavista I drop in and I'm never disappointed either for some Cod au Gratin or just a cold beer. Sharon, Harv and all of the employees are the best.
Cozy little caf with friendly service and very delicious home cooked-style eggs and bacon (or sausage) breakfasts. Tastes just like you'd cook for yourself, or better! Many other breakfast and lunch items as well. The other side of the building is a classic bar complete with a chatty bartender, a pool table, VLTs, and occasional live music. Get some Iceberg beer here for a great price!
