New campground...not many sites..washrooms and showers very clean.no laundry service. ..no playground for kids...but hopefully these things will be added in future..
I gave this RV park 5 stars because of its location to Bonavista and the fact that the owner (Shaun) is really going to make additions and more improvements to the park. The setting along a small beaver lake is great. Quiet location. No wifi but maybe in the future ?The amenities are basic but the showers produce good hot water. I didnt sight any laundry but this is really a 2-3 nights stay park, so not really required. The owner is building a new bbq indoor area which sounds great, when completed (soon).We saw Puffins nearby, icebergs ( could even get some ice pieces ), several other wild birds and beavers !!- which my wife loved to see.Nearby is the Bonavista Social Club- a must visit.Go to the lighthouse too. Whales in July Im told.There are hiking trails up the back of the park too, if interested in bird or moose spot.Highly recommend.
We just stopped for one night but the campground was peaceful and the owner was helpful. Easy to get to Elliston or Bonavista
